“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but seeing with new eyes.” –Marcel Proust
When we read, we have ways to help us remember important points or details. However, over time and with the use of new technologies, this changes. This has to do with how we receive our information. For example, using electronic devices to read, as well as for personal and professional management, is very different than reading a book. We perceive things differently. Yet, the interesting thing about technology is that it forces us to adapt and modify our habits and strategies. It seems that before we know it, we are using it to our advantage. It changes how we engage with content. I can relate to Sarah Boxer’s experience reading Proust on her cell phone. When you are reading on your cell phone or tablet, you are just reading and not thinking about feeling bound by a book.
